Arsenal are one of several clubs interested in signing Brighton star Leandro Trossard this month, sources have told Daily Arsenal.
Trossard’s agent, Josy Comhair, released a statement today where he said his client is ready for a new chapter and that a transfer from Brighton is the only solution. Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed earlier today that Trossard will not be involved in the squad against Liverpool tomorrow. Reports claim Trossard has been isolated by De Zerbi and he is now training on his own due to attitude problems.
With a transfer away from Brighton now looking very likely, a well-informed source has told Daily Arsenal that The Gunners are one of multiple clubs looking at Trossard. Important to clarify though is that there has been no offer or any talks yet between Arsenal and Trossard’s agent Josy Comhair, according to the source.
Another source with good knowledge of the situation claims Trossard has been offered to Arsenal and the club like him. But other clubs have also been offered the opportunity to sign Trossard, like Spurs.
It is unclear though if Arsenal will pursue a deal for Trossard with Mudryk now reportedly close to joining the club. But Daily Arsenal have been told the club have recently shown interest in Trossard.
