Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha ahead of a potential future move.
The 18-year-old wonderkid made his Liverpool debut in January 2025, at the age of just 16, against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.

Since then, he has established himself as a first-team regular for the Reds and has featured in three of four league games under new manager Andoni Iraola so far this season.
However, Ngumoha has been heavily linked with a potential move away from Anfield in recent months, with several top European clubs credited with an interest.
Journalist Alan Nixon reported a few days ago that Arsenal are closely monitoring Ngumoha’s situation at Liverpool.
The Gunners’ interest in the English youngster has now been backed up elsewhere.

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Arsenal hold an interest in Rio Ngumoha and were keen on making a move during the summer transfer window.
Ornstein adds that Liverpool want to tie Ngumoha down to a new contract, with his current deal at Anfield set to expire in the summer of 2028.
In addition to Arsenal, other top European clubs are keeping close tabs on the 18-year-old’s progress.

If the reports are accurate, this would appear to be a move that makes sense for Arsenal. The club are expected to strengthen the attacking department in the upcoming transfer windows, having failed to bring in another winger to replace Gabriel Martinelli during the summer window. Ngumoha’s profile seems to align with the type of recruitment strategy Mikel Arteta has favoured in recent years.
Whether Arsenal decide to advance their interest in the Liverpool youngster remains to be seen, but they are understood to be among the clubs keeping a close eye on his situation.
