Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães this summer.
 

The 27-year-old has been a key figure for the Magpies, who recently ended a 70-year domestic trophy drought by defeating Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.

Despite his importance to the team, uncertainty remains over Guimarães' future at the club.

Reports suggest that Arsenal are keen on securing the Brazilian's signature, with incoming sporting director Andrea Berta said to be a big admirer of the player.

Now, talkSPORT’s Alex Crook has also confirmed these reports, stating that Arsenal have added Guimarães to their list of potential summer targets.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are in advanced talks to sign Real Sociedad's Martín Zubimendi, but there is still a possibility they could push for both midfielders.

Arsenal are believed to be preparing an approach to test Newcastle's resolve over their star man.
