REPORT: Arsenal’s interest in Brazilian forward confirmed with PL club’s stance made clear
Several English media outlets are reporting today that Arsenal are showing interest in Wolves striker Matheus Cunha.
Since arriving at Wolves from Atletico Madrid during the January 2023 window, the Brazilian has impressed at the Midlands club. He is currently Wolves' most important player without a doubt, and thus the interest around Cunha has grown among top clubs in Europe.
Both The Athletic and The Telegraph claim that Arsenal are interested in signing Matheus Cunha in January.
However, Wolves have no intention of letting the 25-year-old leave mid-season and so a hefty fee is likely to be required to make a move happen this winter.
The Gunners are said to be big admirers of Cunha and hold a long-term interest in the forward.
Prior to Cunha's move to Wolves, it was reported that Arsenal were one of the clubs considering a potential deal.
