It seems like Arsenal are back in for Dusan Vlahovic just two years after he turned down a chance to move to the Gunners, instead joining Juventus.

Several reports in Italy, including Turin based outlet La Stampa, claim Arsenal have decided to make another attempt for the Serbian forward.

It comes after Arsenal seem to now be severely limited in terms of attacking options with Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard the only first team attackers to currently be fully fit. While playing in four different competitions, it's important that Arsenal try to strengthen in this window.

Last season Vlahovic scored 16 goals in 33 games as Juventus finished third, however since the move to the Bianconeri, he has failed to match his highest goal tally of 21 during the 2020/21 season which was his breakthrough year.

Arsenal did previously attempt to sign Vlahovic back in January 2022, although he chose to join Juventus for a fee of around €80m (£66.4m). He's scored 40 goals in 91 games but it seems like the player is now for sale as Juve boss Thiago Motta is not entirely satisfied with how the forward fits into his system.

A contract expiry next summer (2026) puts pressure on Juventus to either sell him now or in the summer at the latest, giving Arsenal a potential opportunity to strike.
