REPORT: Arsenal Preparing €55m Bid for 25-Year-Old Goalscorer Amid Rival Premier League Interest

Arsenal are reportedly preparing an offer for Atalanta forward Mateo Retegui, according to reports in Italy.

The 25-year-old striker joined Atalanta from Genoa last summer and has enjoyed an impressive campaign thus far. Retegui has scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 17 league appearances, while also contributing two goals in six Champions League matches.

His performances this season have attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe. Domestic rivals Juventus and Napoli are said to have been monitoring the player closely in recent months.

Now, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports that Arsenal, alongside Aston Villa, are showing serious interest in signing Mateo Retegui.

Both Premier League clubs are reportedly prepared to submit offers in the region of €55 million for the Italian international this month.
