PSG have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli this summer.
The 24-year-old is among several first-team players who could be allowed to leave the Emirates ahead of next season.
Previous reports have suggested that the Gunners may need to generate significant funds this summer in order to further strengthen the squad. With Arsenal targeting a new left winger, Martinelli could be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives.
PSG approach Arsenal over summer deal
Now, French outlet Media Foot reports that PSG have made an approach to Arsenal over a potential deal for Martinelli.
The Brazilian has been identified by the Ligue 1 giants as one of the alternative options to their primary target, understood to be Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez.
Álvarez has also been heavily linked with a summer move to Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta understood to be a strong admirer of the Argentina international.
Martinelli’s current Arsenal contract runs until the summer of 2027.
