Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Elche midfielder Rodrigo Mendoza.
Spanish outlet Información previously reported that the Gunners were among the clubs tracking the 20-year-old.
Now, Arsenal’s interest has been reinforced elsewhere.
According to reliable Telegraph journalist Sam Dean, Mikel Arteta’s side are monitoring Rodrigo Mendoza ahead of a potential future move.
Mendoza is understood to have a £17.5m release clause that could be triggered in January. Although a summer switch is currently viewed as the more likely scenario.
