Newcastle have previously made it clear that they have no intention of selling Gordon this summer. However, the Magpies may need to sell two or three players to balance the books.
It has also been reported that Arsenal are leading the race for Gordon’s signature, with Mikel Arteta understood to be a strong admirer of the winger.
Arsenal bid for Gordon expected
Now, FootballTransfers claims that the Gunners are preparing to submit an official offer for Gordon at the end of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s side are keen to sign a new left winger this summer, and Gordon is among the players being considered.
This could mean Gabriel Martinelli may be allowed to leave the Emirates if a suitable offer arrives, with four European clubs already showing interest in the Brazilian.
