Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs keeping close tabs on Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl. The Bayern Munich wonderkid has been attracting a lot of attention lately.

The 17-year-old attacker, who primarily operates as a right winger, has attracted transfer interest from several of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Impressive start to the season

Karl has already made his mark with the Bundesliga champions this season. In six league appearances so far, he has registered one goal and one assist.

He was also handed his first Champions League start, scoring the opening goal in Bayern Munich’s 4–0 win over Club Brugge. In doing so, he became the youngest German ever to score in the competition.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed. CaughtOffside reports that Arsenal were among the clubs in attendance to watch Karl during Bayern Munich’s meeting with Club Brugge. Chelsea and Manchester City are also understood to have sent scouts to monitor the talented forward.

However, a potential January move currently appears unlikely, with a summer 2026 transfer more realistic. Karl’s current deal with Bayern runs until 2028, and the Bundesliga giants are believed to have set an asking price in the region of €70–80 million.
