Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry about William Gomes’ situation at FC Porto ahead of a potential summer move.
The 20-year-old winger has enjoyed a brilliant season with the Portuguese giants, who recently won the league title.

In 46 appearances across all competitions, Gomes registered 13 goals and two assists.
His impressive performances have attracted major interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with several European top clubs closely monitoring him.
Now, it looks like the Gunners have entered the race.

According to Diario AS, Arsenal are among the clubs who have enquired about the Brazilian’s availability this summer.
Two other Premier League sides — Newcastle and Manchester United — have also made approaches, as well as Atletico Madrid and Roma.
However, no offers have been made so far, with Porto understood to be well aware of the growing interest in Gomes.
Porto would ideally like to keep the wonderkid for at least one more season, but the player is believed to have an active €80m release clause that could be activated by potential suitors.
However, the newly-crowned Portuguese champions could reportedly be willing to negotiate a significantly lower fee.
Gomes has been dubbed the next “left-footed Luis Diaz”, who previously played for the club before joining Liverpool in January 2022.

Arsenal are expected to step up their plans as the summer transfer window approaches, with the club continuing to hold internal discussions over potential targets. Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta are both believed to be actively assessing several options as preparations for next season continue behind the scenes.
