Arsenal defender Gabriel could reportedly be sidelined for at least four weeks.
The Brazil international sustained a thigh injury while on duty for his national team and was forced off the pitch in visible pain.
Now, it appears he could be out of action for a significant spell.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, initial indications suggest Gabriel could miss between one and two months. Further tests, however, are required before a definitive timeline is established.
This update comes as a major blow for Mikel Arteta’s side, with a huge North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur looming on Sunday.
