Despite signing a new six-year deal at Villa Park in November last year, several top clubs are still looking to prise him away this summer.

Rogers keen to fight for major trophies

According to an exclusive from The Sun, Rogers is open to leaving Aston Villa ahead of next season.

The England international is keen to join one of the country’s biggest clubs this summer, as he looks to challenge for major trophies.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all believed to be long-term admirers of Rogers, who is hopeful that Aston Villa will not stand in his way if the right offer arrives.

The report adds that all parties believe this summer could be the right time to part ways, with Unai Emery’s side in need of recouping significant funds through player sales.

Rogers’ current Villa contract runs until the summer of 2031.
