Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli reportedly wants to stay at the club next season, despite being informed he could be sold this summer.
The 24-year-old has recently been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates, as Arsenal plan to make significant player sales ahead of next season.
Football Insider reported earlier this week that the Gunners are considering selling Martinelli to make way for a new left winger.
Now, a fresh update has emerged on the Brazilian’s situation.
Martinelli has no plans to leave the Emirates
According to a new report from Football Insider, Martinelli ideally wants to remain at Arsenal.
It is understood that he is “pushing to stay” at the club and currently has no plans to leave.
Although Martinelli’s current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, he is willing to fight for his place in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Several European giants have already been linked with summer moves for Martinelli, including PSG.
